Rooted Salon Instagram Contest - Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

  • The giveaway is open to legal residents of the US, aged 18 years or older as of the date of entry, who are located in or near the Salt Lake County region.

  • Participants must be able to attend the Rooted Salon Anniversary Event on September 26, 2024, to claim their prize in person.

  • Employees of Rooted Salon and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

  • Contestants must have a public Instagram profile for their entry to be valid.

  • Participants must be following @rootedsalondraper on Instagram to be eligible to win.

2. Contest Period

  • The contest begins on 9/7/24 and ends on 9/26/24 at 7:00 PM MST.

  • Entries received after this period will not be accepted.

3. How to Enter

  • To enter, participants must tag at least one friend in the comments of the giveaway post on Instagram.

  • Each tagged friend counts as one entry; participants can enter an unlimited number of times.

  • Bonus entries are awarded when participants share the contest post on their Instagram Stories and tag @rootedsalondraper.

  • Participants must be following @rootedsalondraper on Instagram to be eligible for the prize.

  • Only entries from public profiles will be considered valid, as we need to verify Story shares.

4. Prize Details

  • The grand prize is 1 year of complimentary hair color appointments at Rooted Salon.

  • The prize is limited to 8 color services (every 6 weeks) over the course of the year, subject to stylist availability.

  • The prize includes any color service up to $175 per appointment. Any additional service charges beyond this amount will be the responsibility of the prize winner.

  • The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other services.

  • Any missed or canceled appointments without proper notice (as per salon policy) will count as one of the prize’s appointments.

5. Appointment Scheduling

  • The winner must book appointments in advance, and scheduling is subject to stylist availability.

  • The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of the winner announcement, and unused appointments will not be carried over past the expiration date.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.

  • The winner must pick up their prize in person at the Rooted Salon Anniversary Event on September 26, 2024. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize, and a new winner may be selected.

  • Rooted Salon will verify that the winner is following @rootedsalondraper on Instagram before confirming their eligibility.

7. Disqualification

  • Rooted Salon reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates Instagram's terms of service or these contest rules (e.g., entries from private accounts, failure to tag a friend in the comments, or failure to follow @rootedsalondraper).

8. General Conditions

  • Rooted Salon reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if any technical issue or other factor disrupts the integrity of the contest.

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
